Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud/DevOps Engineer who is hands-on, curious, and eager to grow in cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will contribute to the deployment, maintenance, and reliability of our cloud environments, working closely with senior engineers and architects to support our platform on AWS, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and help detect and resolve operational issues. You care about quality, take ownership of your work, and are excited about building reliable, scalable systems in a fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS (primary) and Azure, with a focus on security, availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance using GitHub Actions and related tooling, enabling fast and reliable software delivery.
• Work with infrastructure as code using Terraform to deploy and manage environments consistently.
• Administer and support core AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS/Aurora, S3, Route 53, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Apply and maintain secure practices — including IAM policies, secrets management, and least-privilege access controls.
• Implement networking components including VPC configuration, routing, security groups, NACLs, and DNS.
• Support monitoring and alerting systems to help detect and resolve performance, availability, or security issues.
• Write automation scripts (Bash, Python, or similar) to reduce operational toil and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support infrastructure needs and maintain operational standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of how we deliver and operate services.
• Maintain documentation including runbooks, architecture notes, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE roles, with at least 1 year of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS — you have deployed and managed infrastructure, configured services, and helped resolve production issues.
• Experience with GitHub and automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform; exposure to CloudFormation or CDK is a plus.
• Understanding of secure system design principles — you think about security from development through to deployment.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN/IPsec, firewalls, and TLS.
• Exposure to cloud security practices including IAM, secrets management, and compliance considerations.
• Scripting ability in Bash and/or Python for automation and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with Azure in addition to AWS is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred; demonstrated experience may be substituted.

Nice to Have

• AWS certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate).
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Coralogix, Rapid7, or SentinelOne.
• Exposure to microservices architectures and API-driven development patterns.
