Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth for Docupath across European markets. In this role, you will identify, pursue, and close new enterprise opportunities — working across a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, partner-led pipelines, and geographic expansion into new markets. This is a commercially ambitious, high-ownership role. You will define and execute your own outbound strategy while collaborating closely with marketing, partners, and leadership to build a consistent, high-quality pipeline. You bring energy, commercial sharpness, and the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles — from first contact to signed contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive new business acquisition across European markets — including net-new enterprise logos and entry into new geographies.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline through a mix of outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, partnership-sourced introductions, and targeted account strategies.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles: discovery, qualification, solution positioning, commercial negotiation, and close.
- Develop a deep understanding of target industries and buyer personas to craft compelling, differentiated value propositions for the Docupath platform.
- Work with marketing and leadership to define territory strategies, campaign priorities, and ideal customer profiles.
- Collaborate with the Partner Account Manager to leverage channel and partner networks for pipeline generation and co-selling.
- Represent Docupath at industry events, conferences, and partner forums across Europe.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in CRM, providing regular visibility to sales leadership.
- Act as the voice of the prospect — feeding market insights, objections, and competitive intelligence back to product and leadership teams.
- Transition closed accounts smoothly to the Key Account Management team for ongoing relationship ownership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or business development, ideally in SaaS or technology.
- Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding new business targets with measurable revenue impact.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from first contact to close.
- Strong outbound sales discipline — comfortable building pipeline from scratch through cold outreach, networking, and creative prospecting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior and C-level stakeholders.
- Data-driven approach to pipeline management, activity tracking, and sales forecasting.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Based in Europe with the right to work in your country of residence.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling document automation, AI, or enterprise workflow software.
- Proficiency in an additional European language (e.g., German, French, Dutch).
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Background selling into financial services, insurance, or other document-intensive verticals.
- Familiarity with partner-led and channel-assisted sales motions.
